Is there a file size limit?
The practical limit is your device memory. Images up to 30–50 MB work fine on modern hardware.
Will compression reduce image dimensions?
No. Only compression quality is changed — pixel dimensions stay the same.
Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. Compression happens entirely in your browser using the Canvas API.
